We are aware that individuals and businesses are often focused on the outcomes that they want their solicitors to achieve and are happy to negotiate outcome based fees to suit your needs and objectives.
Initial Telephone Inquiries/Consultations - No fee is charged for a 15 minute initial telephone consultation in respect of any matter.
Conveyancing & Probate – You will charged a fixed fee or you will be given an accurate quote for your matter.
Company, Commercial & Litigation – Our fees will be based on the professional time necessary to handle your matter. We can negotiate the hourly rate to be charged and advise you of any likely out-of-pocket expenses.
Wills, Powers of Attorney and Appointments of Enduring Guardian – You will be charged a fixed fee for standard documents or you will be given an accurate quote for more complex documents.
Fee Quotations – A written estimate of costs will be provided in respect of all matters where the total costs is expected to be more than $750.00 or if requested.
Out-of-Pocket Expenses – We require these to be paid in advance in all matters unless we agree otherwise.
Fees on Account and Payment of Fees – Payment will be required on account from time to time for commercial and Court matters. For other matters the fees are payable at the completion of the matter or if the matter is likely to take more than one month to complete we may render a monthly account. We require that our fees and out-of-pocket expenses be paid within 14 days of billing.
We accept payment of our accounts by cash, cheque or most Credit Cards.
Trust Accounts (How They Operate) – It is the policy of this firm to pay all money received (other than money in payment of an existing account) into our Trust Account. This account is reviewed regularly the Law Society of New South Wales and is subject to the stringent controls of the Legal Profession Act 2004.
Interest – Interest will accrue at the rate prescribed by Regulation 110A of the Legal Profession Regulation 2005 on any accounts outstanding after 30 days.
